Estate Jewelry and Vintage Watches, Bought the Way a Jeweler Buys Them
Bizak & Co. has been a family jewelry business since 1996, and our case sits in the Seybold Building on NE 1st Street — the working heart of the Miami diamond district, where the trade buys from the trade. Everything we sell is estate jewelry: previously owned, which is precisely why it is worth what it is. The brand markup, the boutique and the box were all paid for by somebody else years ago. What is left is the metal, the stones and the workmanship, and that is what you are buying.
Every ring, bracelet, pair of earrings and vintage watch in the collection is examined in person by a trained gemologist before it is listed — metal purity read from the hallmark or tested, stones identified and graded, condition written down as it actually is; watches are additionally checked by a watchmaker for movement and timekeeping. Pieces ship anywhere in the United States by FedEx, fully insured and signature-required, with a certificate of authenticity and a gemological description in the box. Want a closer look first? We also write jewelry and diamond appraisals for insurance, estate settlement and resale, on pieces bought anywhere — the fee is flat and quoted before we start. What is not in the case, we look for through the trade. And if a piece needs work, or you would rather sell than buy, those are separate businesses of ours rather than a sideline.

Questions, Answered
Is everything you sell authentic?
Every piece is examined and authenticated in person by a trained gemologist before it is ever listed, and it ships with a certificate of authenticity and its gemological description. If a piece cannot be described honestly, it does not go on the site.
What does “estate” mean — is it used jewelry?
Estate simply means previously owned. It covers everything from a ring made last decade to an antique over a hundred years old, and it is the reason the price is a fraction of new: somebody else already paid the retail markup. Can I see a piece before I buy?
Yes — on video. We work by mail only, so there are no in-person viewings. Message us on WhatsApp and we send more photos and a short video of the exact piece: in daylight, on the hand, with the hallmarks and stones up close. It then ships fully insured with signature required, and our 7-day return policy applies.
How do I pay, and when am I charged?
Order through the form or on WhatsApp. We confirm availability and send a secure payment link within one business day. Nothing is charged until you approve it.
How is a piece shipped?
By FedEx, fully insured under a jewelers policy through IFS, signature required on delivery, in a presentation box with its certificate of authenticity. Nothing is sent uninsured, whatever the value.
Can I make an offer instead of paying the listed price?
Yes. Every piece has a “Make an Offer” button and we read the offers. Estate is one of the few corners of jewelry where the price is genuinely negotiable, because there is no manufacturer’s list price to defend.
What if the piece I want is not in the collection?
Tell us what you are looking for. We look through the Miami trade every week, and members of the private sourcing list hear about pieces before they are published.
Do you appraise jewelry I already own?
Yes — written appraisals for insurance, estate settlement and resale, on pieces bought anywhere. The fee is flat and quoted upfront, in line with the U.S. range of roughly $65 to $200 per piece depending on complexity. See appraisals.
Do you buy jewelry, or repair it?
Both, on separate sites. We buy by mail at sell.bizakco.com, and mail-in repairs are handled by BizakAid.
