Authenticity & Assurance

Every piece we sell is personally examined and authenticated by a trained gemologist before it is ever listed — then delivered to you fully insured, signature-required, with a certificate of authenticity.

When you buy estate jewelry online, one question matters more than any other: is it real, and is it what it says it is? At Bizak & Co., nothing is listed sight-unseen. Every ring, watch, and piece in the collection is examined in person and authenticated by a trained gemologist before it goes online — and it reaches you documented, insured, and exactly as described.

Authentication is carried out in-house by Arkadius Bizak, with gemmological training through HRD Antwerp and ERIJ, three decades in Miami's jewelry trade since 1996, and three generations of gemologists behind the name.

How every piece is verified

The same discipline behind every listing, from a $1,000 chain to a signed David Webb bracelet.

Examined in person

Each piece is inspected under the loupe by a trained gemologist before listing — metal, stones, hallmarks, and maker's marks are all checked. Nothing goes online unseen.

Independent lab reports

Where a stone carries a laboratory report — such as a GIA report — the report and its number are stated on the product page, not just implied.

Certificate of authenticity

Every piece ships with a certificate of authenticity and its gemological description, so what you were told is what you own.

Signatures stated plainly

A signed piece is described as signed; an unsigned piece is described as unsigned. We never let a screw motif pass for a house it isn't.

Exact specifics listed

Carat weights, metal purity, and dimensions are listed as measured — not rounded up to flatter the piece.

Appraisal on request

Want it in writing, or verified elsewhere? An appraisal is available on request, and you're free to have any piece checked by an independent gemologist.
